Your responsibilities

At AlphaPet Ventures, we are driven by the vision of making healthy pet food the new standard.
To further professionalize our digital processes and make our e-commerce platforms future-proof, we are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in shaping the architecture and development of our central Odoo-based ERP system — and to drive innovation through the use of AI.

Design and develop sophisticated solutions for our Odoo-based ERP system, optimize existing modules, and ensure their stability, efficiency, and scalability
Implement strategic ERP projects, evaluate the technical feasibility of requirements from tickets, and collaborate closely with Product Owners
Manage the entire release process, handle branch management (Git), monitor the CI/CD pipeline, and communicate releases to all stakeholders
Write clean, maintainable code, ensure quality through comprehensive testing, and promote high standards in the team through code reviews
Proactively identify opportunities for process automation and apply your knowledge of AI tools to optimize our development and business processes

Your profile

At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, ideally with a focus on backend or ERP systems
Solid, hands-on experience in developing with Odoo and the OCA framework is essential
Proven experience in using AI tools for process optimization, code review, or system improvement
Excellent knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL, and confident handling of Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong commitment to sustainable software architecture, clean code, and a solution-oriented mindset
Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus

Bei AlphaPet Ventures treiben wir die Vision voran, gesunde Tiernahrung als neuen Standard zu etablieren. Um unsere digitalen Prozesse weiter zu professionalisieren und unsere E-Commerce-Plattformen zukunftsfähig zu gestalten, suchen wir einen erfahrenen Senior Software Engineer, der die Architektur und Weiterentwicklung unseres zentralen Odoo-basierten ERP-Systems maßgeblich gestaltet und Innovationen durch den Einsatz von KI vorantreibt.

Konzipiere und entwickle anspruchsvolle Lösungen für unser Odoo-basiertes ERP-System, optimiere bestehende Module und stelle deren Stabilität, Effizienz und Skalierbarkeit sicher
Implementiere strategische ERP-Projekte, prüfe die technische Machbarkeit von Anforderungen in Tickets und stimme dich eng mit den Product Ownern ab
Steuere den gesamten Release-Prozess, manage die Branches (Git), überwache die CI/CD-Pipeline und kommuniziere Releases an alle Stakeholder
Schreibe sauberen, wartbaren Code, stelle die Qualität durch umfassende Tests sicher und fördere hohe Standards im Team durch Code-Reviews
Identifiziere proaktiv Potenziale zur Prozessautomatisierung und bringe dein Wissen über KI-Tools ein, um unsere Entwicklungs- und Geschäftsprozesse zu optimieren

Was Du mitbringst

Mindestens 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung, idealerweise mit Fokus auf Backend- oder ERP-Systeme
Fundierte, praxiserprobte Kenntnisse in der Entwicklung mit Odoo und dem OCA-Framework sind unerlässlich
Nachweisbare Erfahrung im praktischen Einsatz von KI-Tools zur Prozessoptimierung, Code-Überprüfung oder Systemverbesserung
Exzellente Kenntnisse in Python und PostgreSQL sowie ein sicherer Umgang mit Git, Docker und CI/CD-Pipelines
Du legst Wert auf nachhaltige Softwarearchitektur, Clean Code und agierst lösungsorientiert
Fließende Englischkenntnisse; Deutschkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
